9am- 2pmish Idaho Gravel Grinder

Meet @ BBP (1027 Lusk ST.)

"Idaho has an abundance of amazing gravel roads that criss-cross the state that are ripe for bike riding.  Let's go explore a 40 mile section of awesome gravel road riding from Horseshoe Bend to Placerville which should take about 5 to 7 hours depending on the pace. This is a no-drop ride and fully self-supported, so be prepared for anything that might occur.

What to bring: Either a road, touring, or mountain bike but a minimum of 28c tires is recommended for comfort.  Also bring snacks, water, and lunch but we will stop in Placerville at lunch time with some services available in town.  Appropriate clothing for the weather and clothes that you will be comfortable in all day.

Other info: We will meet at 8:30 AM on Sunday at BBP and arrange car pools.  A map of the ride is here: http://ridewithgps.com/routes/2541678.  This ride is not for the faint of heart, please ensure that you are physically capable for this long yet spectacular ride.

Please contact Scott if you are interested and are willing to drive. Feel free to contact me if you have any questions/concerns about the ride. roamin.grizzly@gmail.com
